Testing your offer and turning it live

This guide will walk you through the process of testing whether your offer is ready to launch, as well as turning it live.

Once you're done creating your offer, it's time to test it out! It's crucial to ensure everything functions correctly before going live, allowing you to make any necessary corrections or additions.

Turn your offer into Test mode

The first step is to make sure that your offer is in Test mode. 

You can do this by opening the offer and selecting Test from the Status drop-down list in the top right corner, then click Save.

Process a test transaction

Before you process a test transaction, make sure that the following are in place:

• Check that you’ve added a main product and price to your offer.

• Confirm which automations should fire when someone purchases your offer. We recommend adding a separate tag in your email platform for each of the following products associated with your offer. When you see these tags in your email platform for your test purchase, you know the Voma integration is working properly:

  • The main product

  • Order bump

  • Upsell

• (OPTIONAL) The main product is required, but the order bump and upsell are optional. Make sure to add a relevant bump and/or upsell to your offer.

  
  
  

1. Once you've confirmed that your page is ready to test, click Open Offer at the top of your screen.
2. Complete the billing info, add the order bump (if an order bump was added), and then use the following payment details to process your test transaction:
   
   1. Card number: 4242 4242 4242 4242 (this can be copied from the banner at the top of the page)
   2. Expiration: Use any month and year in the future
   3. CVC: Use any random 3-digit number
3. Go ahead and click Complete Your Order. (Don't forget to include the upsell on the next page if you're using one). The offer should redirect to the Upsell page, and then to the Thank You page.
4. The final step is to check your email platform to make sure that this transaction triggered all the automations that you set up.

Your Offer is now ready to go live. 

How to turn your offer live

After you've tested your offer, it's time to go live!

1. Open the offer, select Live from the Status drop-down list in the top right corner, and click Save.
2. Now open the offer in your browser and make sure that the Test Mode bar is no longer showing at the top of the screen.

That's it! Your Offer is now ready to accept orders.
