Managing customer access to products or bundles

This guide will show you how to grant or remove customer access to any digital product, course, or bundle that you sell.

When a customer submits an order on one of your Voma checkout pages, they will automatically be granted access to all of the products in their order. This includes any bundles & bonuses, and if they select them, any bumps and/or upsells.

But there may be times when you want to manually grant someone access that has not already been granted access automatically through purchase.

This guide will show you how to manually manage customer or user access. You'll be able to see which customers have access to specific products or bundles, modify customer details, and grant or revoke customer access from either the Products or Customers dashboards.

How to manually grant product or bundle access to customers

You can grant product or bundle access to a customer from either your Products or Customers dashboard.

๐Ÿ“‘  Note:

  • If you need to provide access to a single user, use the Customers dashboard.
  • If you need to provide access to multiple customers simultaneously, use the Products dashboard.

A. Granting access to a single customer through the Customers dashboard:

  1. On your Customers tab, search for and select the customer to whom you want to grant access. (If the customer doesn't exist yet, you can first add the new customer by clicking on New Customer, and then continue to grant access.)
  2. Click on the Access tab and select the product or bundle you want to give the customer access to from the dropdown list. (Products are shown at the top and Bundles at the bottom of the dropdown list.)
  3. As soon as you click Grant Access, the product will show on the customer's product list and they will have immediate access to it.

๐Ÿ“‘  Note: While using the Customers dashboard is the preferred method for granting access to a single customer, you also have the option to do so through the Products dashboard. Simply select the specific product or bundle you wish to grant access to and add the customer's email address in the Access tab.

B. Granting access to multiple customers through the Products dashboard:

  1. Click on the Access tab of the product or bundle you want to grant user access to and click on the bulk import users to give them access link.
  2. Type or paste the email addresses of the customers you want to give access to and click Add users. (these can be new or existing users)

๐Ÿ“‘  Note: Make sure that you type or paste the email addresses in list form (below each other) as shown in the example.
